The rubber decal squeegee in an important tool when applying water slide decals to any substrate. Applying a water deal without using this or similar tool will not give optical results. Using the decal mounting fluid is also important to get good results. The purpose of the decal mounting fluid is to act as lubricate to prevent the decal squeegee from tearing the thin water decal and also as help remove air bubbles from under the decal.

A simple but very important tool to successfully apply water slide decals to any substrate. Failure to squeegee all water and air bubbles from under the decal may cause the water decal to crack, peel or simply fall of the substrate (here we are referring to the traditional method of applying decals using only the water based gum adhesive that is provided on the decal paper) Also useful to apply Laser printed bumper stickers when using an application fluid.
