many ways similar to double face tape but is not the same thing.

Transfer adhesive can not replace
double face tape nor can double face tape do what the transfer tape is design
to do. The transfer adhesive is simply a even and thin film of adhesive
between two layers of release liner. By using a transfer adhesive such
as the TAH transfer adhesive you can apply this to any film, thin, or flat
object self-adhesive simply remove one liner, the user can the remove the
other liner at the time the item is to be used or affixed to the substrate
it will be mounted on.
